What kind of couple are you?
My husband cleans and preps the area, buys the necessary supplies and starts taping off. I on the other hand pour over page after page of the latest DIY catalogs. I scour my favorite DIY shows and ultimately the store for that perfect color. Upon finding it I am almost giddy to show him my selection.
"It's gray," he states with a matter of factness that gently mocks the time it has taken me to make this decision.
"It's actually Revere Pewter," I inform him and begin to explain my vision. He listens as intently as he can and gives me his nod of approval. Soon our project begins.
This isn't our first home project nor will it be our last. We've quickly learned eachothers strenghts and weakenesses in the renovation realm of our relationship. And love diving into a project almost as much as finishing it.
Home renovations are one of my favorite parts to home ownership. It has become a way we spend time together. For us, these projects make home ownership fun.
