A home renovation you can take with you
Spring is the season of blooms and next to the repairs and fresh paint some beautiful flowering plants are a great way to make your home stand out. This is one investment that if done right, you can take with you when you move.
Consider purchasing some nice pots and potting color filled flowering plants in them. Don't have a green thumb? No worries, lots of nurseries will create brilliant works of art in pots for you to place around your home. Places like Home Depot or even your local nursery often have some pots already put together for purchase. If you do decide to create your own pots, ask questions and find out what blooms the best and longest, what's low maintenance. Take your flower filled pots and strategically locate them on decks, near your entrance, porches and other places that need brightened up.
If you have an outside area that seems like an eye sore, see if a potted plant can help, maybe a few pots suddenly distract from where the garbage can is stored.
And best of all, since they aren't planted in the ground, when you sell the home these can easily be taken with you to enjoy at your new house.
